Bergamot Aromatherapy Essential Oil is from a family tree of citrus fruits that are not edible, and are grown in Calabria, France and West Africa. Its essence is extracted by pressure from the bark of fruit. It has a green hue and a citrus scent very cool and pleasant. Its main components are linalyl acetate (35-45%), limonene (50%) and linalool (20-30%) and bergapten furonocumarina a compound of this substance is that which can cause inflammation in the skin,  and is sensitive to light.
